A festive slice of Choccywoccydoodah on Good Food

Choccy

Britain's leading Pay TV food channel Good Food has commissioned an hour-long special Christmas edition of Choccywoccydoodah from Twofour, as the internationally renowned cake and chocolate business heads into one of its busiest and flamboyant seasons of the year.

Choccywoccydoodah: Christmas (working title) narrated by Stephen Tompkinson, will showcase Christine and the team as they create some of their most iconic Christmas masterpieces to date. For the first time, viewers will also see them making some exquisite creations, which could provide seasonal cake and tree decorating inspiration.

The programme has been commissioned to complement Good Food?s festive programming slate and was commissioned by UKTV's Senior Commissioning Editor Catherine Catton, ordered by Good Food?s General Manager Clare Laycock, and will be overseen by Commissioning Executive Shirani Sabaratnam.

From the magic of the build, to the reveal of the spectacular Christmas windows at both the Brighton and London stores, it is all hands on deck as the winter wonderland theme is realised. Each store front display will feature wishing trees, owls, fauna, and in true Choccywoccydoodah style, polar bears and penguins!

UKTV's Catherine Catton says

"We're delighted to be showcasing a festive slice of Choccywoccydoodah on Good Food, so that viewers get to experience the world of this spectacular cake and chocolate emporium at this special time of year.?

Clare Laycock adds

?Christmas is a busy time of year for Good Food, which traditionally sees its highest viewing figures from mid-November through to January. Choccywoccydoodah: Christmas is a great addition to the channel?s content and will enhance our schedule at the tail end of 2013.?

Executive Producer Juliet Rice from Twofour, says

?For the team at Choccywoccydodah, Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year. We can't wait to be able to work with Good Food once more to unveil the festive window displays and outlandish cake designs that are signature Choccy.?

Choccywoccydoodah: Christmas will provide a unique snapshot of the festive season from the team that never shys away from a celebrity challenge, and lives, eats and breathes cake and chocolate, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Choccywoccydoodah: Christmas will be Executive Produced by Twofour?s Juliet Rice and Produced by Lynda Parkhurst.

There have been four previous series of Choccywoccydoodah on Good Food including the celebrity filled Choccywoccydoodah: Starstruck, which have gone on to have huge international success and been sold to territories including Africa, Latin America, Benelux, as well as several countries including Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.
