UKTV enrols its first apprentice through Boris Johnson scheme

UKTV is excited to welcome its first apprentice, enrolled through an initiative set up by the National Apprenticeship Service and backed by Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.

Charlie Guy, who today began his 18 month apprenticeship, joins as a marketing assistant for entertainment channels Dave and Gold, assisting Will Gunton, Senior Brand Manager, Dave, and Sarah Yeoman, Senior Brand Manager, Gold.

The programme offers young people and adult learners the opportunity to earn while they learn in a full-time job, gaining a real qualification and building towards a career in an field they are passionate about.
