London, Thursday 8th October - UKTV today announced its first network-wide roadblock for a first look teaser of Watch's, new show Code Black.

It is the first time that UKTV has deployed a first look promo as a billed programme across its entire portfolio of ten linear channels, UKTV play and its social channels at exactly the same time.

The exclusive trailer, running at five minutes long and cut by UKTV's in-house creative team will air at 9pm on Thursday 22 October, exactly one week ahead of Code Black's launch on 29 October at 9pm.

This also marks the first time UKTV has provided a sneak peek at Pay programming via its direct-to-consumer UKTV Play service.

Medical drama Code Black is set in LA County Hospital - the busiest ER in America - which declares 'Code Black' when the number of patients threatens to overwhelm staff.

Starring Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden and Homeland's Raza Jaffrey.
