Juliette Lewis returns to W for Secrets and Lies season two

Secrets And Lies S2

20 September 2016

The unflappable and formidable Detective Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis) is back with a new case to solve in season two of Secrets and Lies. The explosive power of people's secrets will once again take centre stage in the hit drama series from ABC Studios, which starts on W from Tuesday 11th October at 9pm.

The second season focusses on a murder in the financial world which only Detective Andrea Cornell can solve. Handsome and charming, Eric (Michael Ealy - Almost Human), is enjoying a celebration of his family's business when a bloodcurdling scream announces to the world that Eric's new wife has been murdered. In the face of tragedy Eric's family rallies around him; his father, John (Terry O'Quinn - Lost), a self-made entrepreneur alongside Eric's sister, Amanda (Mekia Cox - 90210) and Eric's younger brother, Patrick (Charlie Barnett - Chicago Fire). When Detective Andrea Cornell is assigned the case, she digs into their private lives and soon discovers that no one in this family is who they seem. Now, Cornell must drag all their secrets and lies into the light to uncover the killer.

Season one of the hit US drama starred Ryan Phillippe as Ben Crawford who found his neighbour's son dead on his morning run and embarked on a twisted game of cat and mouse with Cornell. Secrets and Lies is one of a number of high profile US shows on W including Code Black, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and The Strain. Barbie Kligman (Private Practice) developed the mystery thriller, which is based on the original Australian series Secrets and Lies, created by Stephen Irwin. Executive producers are Kligman for Avenue K Productions, Aaron Kaplan for Kapital Entertainment, Tracey Robertson and Nathan Mayfield for Hoodlum Entertainment. Secrets and Lies is produced by ABC Studios.

The new series joins a full schedule of Autumn premieres on W, including the second season of hit US show Code Black and brand new UKTV Originals, I've Got Something To Tell You with Amanda Holden and Inside The Ambulance.

Secrets and Lies season two new and exclusive to W, Tuesday 11th October at 9pm.
