In addition to his Strategy role Simon also heads up UKTV's Insight and Regulatory teams to ensure that channel portfolio and on demand services are optimally positioned in an intensely competitive market.
Simon joined UKTV in August 2007 from Discovery Networks Europe, where, as part of the senior management team, he was responsible for developing factual and lifestyle channels across all UK and EMEA territories. Before joining Discovery, Simon was VP Planning at MTV Networks Europe, where he oversaw the rapid transition of the business from two analogue channels to a suite of nine channels in multiple European territories.
