Simon Michaelides

Simon is Chief Transformation Officer at UKTV & BBC Studios UK, responsible for leading the post-acquisition integration and development of the combined UKTV & BBC Studios business; including international expansion opportunities for UKTV brands and properties. This involves identifying key areas of synergy and leading the transformation agenda across all areas of the combined business; addressing a full range of organisational and business growth opportunities, setting the business up for long-term success.

Prior to taking on this role in June 2019, Simon served as UKTV's Marketing Director, and latterly as Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing the company's third party platform relationships and all commercial activity; including programme financing and distribution, sponsorship and advertising, UKTV's video on demand (VOD) business, and UKTV Ventures - a multi-million pound innovation fund which is used to invest in high-growth potential businesses that are seeking external investment.

Simon joined UKTV in January 2012, having spent 15 years in a combination of management consultancy and commercial marketing roles at Kantar Consulting, Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo; working across major household brands including Coca-Cola, Bacardi-Martini, Walkers Crisps, Tropicana, and Fairy Liquid.
