WHAT IS IT?

Bangers & Cash Live 2023 Highlights Reel

Bangers & Cash Live is a celebration of cars, classics and all things Bangers & Cash! Following last year's sell-out event, Bangers & Cash Live returns in 2024 to again give fans of the TV programme the opportunity to see a Bangers & Cash auction with the Mathewsons, as specially selected lots of vehicles and memorabilia go under the hammer. There will also be exclusive Q&As with people from the show and the classic car and TV industry as well as potential opportunities to meet the Mathewson family, see cars from the programme and hundreds of other classics and interesting vehicles, watch some exclusive content as well as eat and drink from some of the area's finest food and drink vendors and have a fantastic family day out.

A limited number of tickets are available for both days and the event is strictly advanced tickets only. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 9th February. Tickets for Bangers & Cash Live are sold exclusively via See Tickets HERE.

WHERE IS IT?

Scampston Hall, Malton, YO17 8NG

The picturesque village of Scampston, North Yorkshire is our home. Scampston Hall is just four miles from Malton and is easily accessible from the A64 which connects Leeds, York and the Yorkshire Coast. Please see below for more details on how to get there.

Line-ups for both days will be as similar as possible, but as with everything you see with the Mathewsons on Bangers & Cash, no two days are ever exactly the same!

HOW MUCH IS IT?

All tickets give all day (Saturday or Sunday) access to the showground and our free activities including the live auction, hundreds of vehicles on display, awards, live entertainment, kids' area, etc. Prices are:

Saturday: Adult (16+) Day Entry - £20.00

Saturday: Child (5-15) Entry - £5.50

Saturday: Baby & Toddler (Under 5s) - £Free

Sunday: Adult (16+) Day Entry - £20.00

Sunday: Child (5-15) Entry - £5.50

Are weekend tickets available? No, tickets must be purchased for each day separately.

Are there any student/concession tickets available? Sorry, no student/concession tickets are available for this event.

Where is Bangers & Cash Live? Scampston Walled Garden, Malton, YO17 8NG

Getting there by Car:

Scampston lies just north of the A64, so is easy to reach if you are driving. Drivers with Sat-navs can find it with our postcode YO17 8NG. Event signage will be in place and event stewards will assist with parking when you arrive on-site. Parking for Bangers & Cash Live is free.

From Leeds/York/Malton: Follow the A64 toward Scarborough, bypassing Malton. Half a mile after the traffic lights in Rillington take the left turn signed Scampston Only and follow event signage.

From Scarborough: Follow the A64 towards York passing Heslerton and the turning to Yedingham and Snainton. Half a mile after crossing Scampston Bridge (you get a glimpse of the Hall on your right) take the next right signed Scampston Only and follow event signage.

From Hull/Beverley: Follow the B1248 to Malton and join the A64 towards Scarborough. Half a mile after the traffic lights in Rillington take the left turn signed Scampston Only and follow event signage.

From Whitby/Pickering: Follow the A169 to the Malton bypass and join the A64 towards Scarborough. Half a mile after the traffic lights in Rillington take the left turn signed Scampston Only and follow event signage.

Getting here by Public Transport

Train: There is a regular train service to Malton station. Malton is on the Liverpool - Scarborough line, with a direct train service to Leeds and York.

Taxi: A taxi service runs from Malton station, but taxis can also be pre-booked with Malton Station Taxis on 01653 69 69 69 or visit their website. Taxis suitable for disabled visitors are also available if booked.

Bus: Yorkshire Coastliner bus services 843 and 845 pass within 1km of the gate, exit the bus after the village of Rillington as Scampston Land End. For the timetable, please check the website for more details or telephone 01653 692556.

The Event

What time is Bangers & Cash Live? Gates will be open from 10am on both days. Last entry to the event is 14:00. The show will finish at 18:00 and gates will close at 19:00 on both days.

Bars and food concessions will stop serving at 18:00. We kindly request that you leave the site swiftly and do not loiter. And please respect the neighbours of the event around the parkland and leave quietly and as quickly as you can.

When can I get a timetable/line-up? The full times will be released roughly one week before the start of the Bangers & Cash Live. Please check our website closer to the event date.

Can I camp at Bangers & Cash Live? No, there is no general public camping available.

Accessibility

What accessible facilities are available at Bangers & Cash Live? We have accessible parking and accessible toilet facilities on-site, if you have any accessibility questions, please contact SEE TICKETS

What are my options if I'm disabled? We take the needs of Ticket Holders who are disabled or who have other access requirements very seriously and want to actively encourage people of all abilities to attend the event. Are tickets for Care Givers available? Yes. Carer tickets are available at check-out. Please note: Proof of disability is requested at the point of booking in order to obtain this ticket - please have this available to upload before continuing.

What is the ground like at Scamspton Parkland? Scamspton Parkland is an outdoor space with mostly grassy areas. The ground is sandy, allowing for good drainage and keeping it dry underfoot. However, in extremely wet conditions, there is a possibility of it becoming muddy, and in hot temperatures, it may get dusty. While the majority of the showground is flat, there are some uneven parts, so please exercise caution when moving around the site.

How much space is available on-site? We have designated ample space for viewing the cars on-site; we also have a large amount of space available to view the stages and screens.

What seating is available on-site? We actively encourage attendees to bring their own chairs, as the furniture provided on-site will not be sufficient for everyone. Seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. It's worth noting that there won't be any shaded or sheltered areas in case of sunshine or rain.

General Terms & Conditions

What is your drug policy? Bangers & Cash Live operates a zero-tolerance policy to drugs. The laws of the land are as relevant within the event site as anywhere else. This includes new psychoactive substances, poppers, and nitrous oxide.

Will there be security? Yes, security will be present across all areas of the event site, working to keep you safe. If you notice anything suspicious, please tell a member of security straight away.

Where can I find my lost property? During Bangers & Cash Live, lost property can be found in the Information tent. Please ask a member of staff if you need to locate the information tent.

What should I bring with me? Entry e-ticket, Mobile Phone, Money (Cash and contactless payments), Identification, Camping chairs, camping stools, picnic blankets, Clothing for all weather as the Bangers & Cash Live is an open-air event in a parkland, Sun protection cream.

What should I NOT bring with me? Please note, no food or drink is permitted to be brought into Bangers & Cash Live (with the exception of an empty reusable water bottle to fill up onsite). There will be a wide variety of bars and food traders open throughout the event, as well as free water points. We really appreciate you supporting our food traders, most of whom are small and local businesses.

Glass is not allowed at the event for safety reasons.

Other prohibited items include: Alcohol, Excessive amounts of cigarettes (i.e. more than for personal consumption), Chinese or sky lanterns, Illegal and unidentifiable substances, Portable laser equipment and laser pens, Fireworks and pyrotechnics, Flares and distress flares, Any goods for unauthorised trading, Any items which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, Any items which cause danger, offence, or disruption to any other person, Air horns and megaphones, Spray cans, Oversized lighters, Catapults, Drones, Sound Systems, Firearms,
Explosives.

Illegal weapons and drugs are not permitted by law and will be confiscated. If you are found to have these items, you will be immediately removed from the event.

Can I bring my own alcohol? No, alcohol cannot be brought into the event. There are fully licensed bars available at the event.

Can I bring my own food or drink? No, food or drink cannot be brought into the event. There will be food and drink traders on site, many of whom will be from the local area and are small businesses.

Can I bring my children's food / milk etc? Yes. Food for children under 5 years old will be permitted.

I have severe allergies etc? Some allowances for severe medical conditions will of course be made. Also, participating food traders make every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause the most common allergic reactions, however, there is always a risk of cross-contamination and those with allergies should be aware of this. Please check with food traders as they will be able to advise. If you have any concerns please contact SEE TICKETS.

What if there is an emergency? In the case of an emergency please take direction from event site staff, stewards, security, or the emergency services.

If the event site needs to be evacuated, you will be directed to the nearest exit. Please remain calm and alert and listen to those telling you what you need to do and where you need to go.

Do you have medical provision on site? We have on-site welfare and medical provisions, with fully trained paramedics also on site.

Are there phone charging facilities available on site? No, please bring enough power to be able to contact people.

Are there cashpoint machines on site? No, there will be no cash machines. Traders are permitted to take cash or card. It will be at the trader's discretion what form of payment they accept.

Can I leave the Bangers & Cash Live showground and return to my car? Attendees will be able to return to their vehicle to collect additional permitted items. Please retain your tickets at all times.

Can I leave the Bangers & Cash Live car park and return? No, once you drive your vehicle off the site, you will not be permitted back on site.

Can I bring my pet? Well-behaved dogs that are kept on leads at all times are permitted at Bangers & Cash Live. However, please note that specific facilities for dogs are not available at the event.

Can I smoke? The same regulations apply at Bangers & Cash Live as the rest of the country. You can smoke in the open air but not inside tents. Look out for any 'No Smoking' signs.

Will there be filming taking place at the event? Yes. UKTV may film/photograph you and your attendance at the event and reserves the right to exploit all footage so taken in all media worldwide in perpetuity. Signs will be in place at the event with notice of intention to film. If you have any concerns or do not wish to be filmed, please speak to a member of staff. Can I show my car/bike/tank at Bangers & Cash Live? Potentially, yes. We want as many wonderful vehicles on display at Bangers & Cash Live as we possibly can. Much like a Mathewsons auction, we'd like there to be something for everyone! We would also love to hear from you if you are part of a car club and we are especially interested to hear from people who have vehicles which have featured in episodes of Bangers & Cash.
