Every week sees Alexander Armstrong (The Armstrong & Miller Show, Pointless, Hunderby) welcome top names from the world of comedy into his lair. He challenges each comic with subjects as varied as Shakespeare, magic and the Bible - all they have to do is come up with a fiendish question for the other guests to answer.

The show is packed with comedy banter and the guests are never short of some extra trivia to throw around, prompted by Alexander's nifty laptop search engine.

Alexander is a mere Sherpa guiding the viewer through the treacherous mountain paths of trivia.

It's a test of comedians' trivia recall, as well as their improvisational skills, and each episode they are offered an extraordinarily random prop to discuss, from a highly technical snuff machine to a stuffed bird on a cricket ball!
