Award-winning TV channel Dave is set to open Big Zuu's Big Eatery this Autumn - a pop-up restaurant featuring ingredients that have been entirely recycled. It intends to highlight the huge amount of food waste ahead of Big Zuu's forthcoming new series Big Zuu's Big Eats on Dave and free streaming service UKTV Play at the end of the month.

On the Friday 5th and Saturday 6th October, Big Zuu's Big Eats will become a restaurant and take over well-known West End food spot, Maison Bab. Big Zuu's Big Eatery, the aptly named pop-up restaurant will coincide with the release of series four of Big Zuu's Big Eats and be open to the public for two nights only, featuring a menu curated by Zuu himself.

The eatery will offer up a 'little eat' followed by a three-course meal inspired by the show to encourage people to rethink their food consumption and waste habits.

The menu is ingeniously crafted to celebrate the UK's most overlooked and underappreciated food products, transforming waste items into gourmet wonders that are packed with irresistible flavour. Everyday ingredients such as cucumbers, bread and cheese are incorporated to create dishes such as "Buffalo" chicken shawarma with blue cheese sauce and apple slaw and salted cod & monkfish croquettes with tzatziki.

Big Zuu said:
