Red Bull Soapbox Race Live on Dave

New series of X-Fighters and Cliff Diving to follow too.

Dave's long running relationship with Red Bull Media House will reignite once more to bring the outrageous Red Bull Soapbox Race to the TV screen. Dave will exclusively celebrate the Soapbox Race with a week-long series (5x30') offering an interesting insight into some of the engineering marvels and crazy concepts entered by teams from across the UK which will lead into two hours of exclusive coverage live from the adrenaline-pumping race in London on Sunday 14th July at Alexandra Palace.

Red Bull Soapbox Race is a major international event that has been wowing huge crowds around the world for the past 12 years. Teams of amateur racers design and build their own gravity-powered soapbox vehicles and race them against the clock in an extreme downhill battle in front of thousands of fans. The new series will be stripped on Dave from Monday 8th July at 8pm and will give the audience a sneak peek into the competition itself, looking at a small selection of wacky teams and following their journey from build to race day which will be broadcast live on Dave, presented by sports presenter Ed Leigh and Radio1 DJ Alice Levine.

Dave, the home of witty banter, has also ordered a sixth series of the freestyle motocross championship Red Bull X-Fighters and is bringing back the action packed Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series for a second series, both airing later this year.

Red Bull Cliff Diving

Red Bull Cliff Diving is returning to Dave following the successful first series of the high diving event that has been touring the globe for four years. The series (8x30') captures the drama as the world's best high divers battle with their body and mind as they leap from a 27m platform in stunning locations such as Thailand, Italy, Boston and once again returning to its UK home of Wales. Adventurer Bonita Norris will return to present the series.

Red Bull X-Fighters

The world's best freestyle motocross riders return in Red Bull X-Fighters, presented by maverick sports presenter Ed Leigh and ex-mountain bike pro Rob Warner. The series (6x60') follows the world tour to stops including Dubai, Mexico and Madrid and Dave will air exclusive coverage from this exhilarating competition as the riders perform gravity defying tricks and fight it out for the championship.

UMTV exec Chris Gillett will continue to produce the Red Bull series? for Dave with Red Bull Media House producers James Milnes and Paul Shepherd.
