UKTV's Mr Darcy stunt wins Guardian award


UKTV is proud to announce that our Communications team has won the Best PR Led Campaign at The Guardian Best Awards 2014, for our Mr Darcy campaign, which helped launch our new Drama channel in July.

Our strategic campaign with the build of a 12-foot sculpture of the infamous character from Pride and Prejudice at its heart, was a big success helping the channel to smash launch viewer projections by 59%.

Our PR stunt generated 750+ features and news pieces in the UK and over the course of seven days, it generated 37.9 million Twitter impressions, making it a global top ten Twitter trend.
