Watch sees Grimm move closer to the US premiere

The thrilling fifth season of hit US drama Grimm will premiere on Watch on Tuesday 3rd November at 9pm, just one week after it launches in the US.

Inspired by the classic Grimm Brothers' Fairy Tales, David Giuntoli stars as Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt, who discovers he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as 'Grimms.' However, he increasingly finds his responsibilities as a detective at odds with his new responsibilities as a Grimm.

Season four left viewers and Nick devastated by his mother's beheading and death of the love of his life, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch). Having lost so much, Nick must dig deep and decide what type of person he wants to be, while also coming to terms with fathering a child with his once sworn enemy, Adalind (Claire Coffee), as a result of their one-time encounter. As season five begins, it appears Nick's rage is consuming him and he goes on a quest for vengeance. The season premiere, The Grimm Identity, will also see the arrival of Nick and Adalind's baby.

Madeline Brewer (Orange is the New Black) also guest stars as a Wesen in the new season. Brewer's character is a lieutenant but she is not just an ordinary deputy, she is a fierce creature that is part of an up-and-coming Wesen street gang who is raising hell in Portland.

Grimm also stars Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee and Bree Turner.

Grimm is a Universal Television and Hazy Mills production. The series was created by David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter. Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner and Norberto Barba serve as executive producers along with Greenwalt and Kouf.

Season five of Grimm launches on Watch, Tuesday 3rd November at 9pm.
