
Zoë Clapp, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at UKTV, has joined Women in Advertising and Communications (WACL).
Set up in 1923, WACL is a prestigious industry organisation that brings together female leaders in marketing and communications to accelerate gender equality by offering support, help and inspiration to female talent.
Activities hosted by WACL include GATHER, an annual training day and networking event for women, by women. They offer a programme of regular training events and inspirational speakers, quarterly mentoring sessions and training bursaries offered by the Future Leaders Award to aid women in achieving their potential. WACL also raises significant money for NABS, the charity that champions the wellbeing of the industry's people.

Zoë joins other members which include Dame Carolyn McCall CEO of ITV, Lady Nicola Mendelsohn, VP EMEA Facebook and Dame Cilla Snowball, Chair of AMV/BBDO Europe among others. Membership is by invitation only and results from a nomination by existing members.
Zoë has been UKTV's CMO since June 2016 and is tasked with leading the team for the Sunday Times top 100 company, to grow the viewership and reputation of UKTV's network of award-winning brands. In addition to overseeing Communications, Zoë is also responsible for UKTV's Creative, Digital, Marketing and Media departments.
She reports to Chief Executive, Darren Childs and serves on the Executive board for UKTV, an independent commercial joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Discovery Inc.
