Today multi-award winning broadcaster UKTV announced the co-production of two programmes for its free-to-air channel Really; Swipe Right For Murder (w/t) with Australia's Seven Network, MediaWorks New Zealand and DCD Rights and the second series of Nurses Who Kill from FirstLookTV and DCD Rights.

Swipe Right For Murder (w/t) is an 8 x 60' series which reveals online love matches. Serious crimes linked to apps from Plenty Of Fish to match.com have increased by over ten times in the last year, with a staggering 10% of all known sex offenders using online dating apps as a private hunting ground. In cases such as these, there's not a lot the police can do in a world where we invite strangers into our lives. With exclusive access to the victims' families and the police who worked to bring the offenders to justice, this series shines a frightening light on the world of social media murders.

Nurses Who Kill, produced by FirstLookTV, will also return to Really with 10 x 60' episodes bringing together top medical, criminal and psychological experts to analyse the motives of the nurses who kill. Featuring never-before-seen evidence, Nurses Who Kill examines why they do it, how they get away with it and how hard it can be to prove their guilt, revealing the shocking cynicism and brutality behind their caring persona.

Both these new series have been ordered by Emma Sparks, UKTV's acquisitions and co-production manager, and Really's general manager Luke Hales.

Emma Sparks, acquisitions and co-production manager, UKTV, said,

Swipe Right For Murder (w/t) is an extraordinary series which reveals the true dangers of the online dating world we all have access to. Both Swipe Right For Murder (w/t) and Nurses who Kill will give Really's viewers an exclusive and fascinating insight into the crimes that have been committed and the people behind them.

Swipe Right For Murder (w/t) will air on Really in 2018 and Nurses Who Kill, series two will return in 2018.
