UKTV's scripted comedy Hoff The Record, starring David Hasselhoff, won an International Emmy last night.

The mockumentary-style Dave series won in the comedy category at the awards ceremony in New York. The UKTV Original programme features the former Baywatch star playing a fictional version of himself, after he moves to Britain to reignite his acting career.

UKTV's director of commissioning Richard Watsham said,

This is a well-deserved win for a brave and funny show. Huge congratulations to the brilliant producers, Krish Majumdar and Richard Yee, to our star David of course, all the cast, and all the other talented people who've worked on Hoff the Record.

Two series of the programme have aired on Dave, which is the UK's most-watched non-PSB channel. It was commissioned by Richard Watsham and senior commissioning editor Iain Coyle, and ordered by Dave's general manager, Steve North. Me & You Productions made the show.
