Filming underway on fourth series of Alibi's Miss Scarlet and the Duke

Hit crime drama Miss Scarlet and the Duke is set to return to Alibi in late Spring 2023, whilst filming on a fourth series gets underway in Belgrade, Serbia. The 6x60' series is co-produced by MASTERPIECE and Element 8 Entertainment, in association with 87 Films, Other Mans Shoes and Work in Progress, with pre-investment from UKTV.

The third series of Miss Scarlet and the Duke will continue to follow Kate Phillips (Peaky Blinders, The Crown) as the headstrong Eliza Scarlet, who is the first-ever female detective in Victorian London, and Stuart Martin (Army of Thieves, Jamestown) as her childhood friend, professional colleague and potential love interest, Inspector William 'The Duke' Wellington.

Other cast include Cathy Belton, Evan McCabe, Felix Scott, Paul Bazely, Curtis Kantsa, Simon Ludders and Tim Chipping.

Miss Scarlet and the Duke is created by Rachael New, who writes the series alongside Ben Edwards. Executive producers are Harvey Myman, Susanne Simpson, Jin Ishimoto, Patrick Irwin, Patty Lenahan Ishimoto and Rachael New. The Irish co-producer is Jim Duggan, Serbian co-producer An?elija Vlaisavljevic? and the senior series producer for MASTERPIECE is Erin Delaney.
