UKTV is excited to announce its new continuity announcer for premium entertainment channel, W. Award winning saxophonist and broadcaster YolanDa Brown can be heard on air from 22nd May.

YolanDa has presented shows for the BBC Proms and her eponymous series, YolanDa's Band Jam for CBeebies. She has toured with Motown legends The Temptations, Diana Krall, Billy Ocean and collaborated with Julian Marley, Mica Paris and as part of Jools Holland's Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

YolanDa joins a stunning array of inspirational women on the channel including Emily Atack, Stacey Dooley, and Emma Willis, whose new series' Emily Atack: Adulting, Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over and Emma Willis: Delivering Babies air later this year.

YolanDa Brown is an award-winning musician and broadcaster that has garnered praise for her delicious fusion of reggae, jazz and soul. YolanDa is also the only person to have won two consecutive Jazz MOBO Awards. She is a celebrity ambassador for many charities including the Prince's Trust, Children and the Arts, World Child Cancer and in January 2018 she was appointed Chair of Youth Music. YolanDa was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Arts by the University of East London and also invited to meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
